Is First USA aka Chase Bank?

Does anyone one if First USA is Chase Bank? I am being sued by a debt collection lawyer that says he is representing Chase Bank. I just pulled my credit report and First USA is listed as the account as potentially negative. It states that the account is from First USA and was written off. The only thing that indicates to me that it is the account is the amount of the debt, but again, all of my summons and crap from the debt collection lawyer says he is representing Chase. Do I have some grounds to bring this up in my arbitration hearing this week on the grounds of false misrepresentation or am I just grasping at straws here? I'm okay with that if I am, just wondering.

First USA was absorbed by Bank One....then Bank One was taken over (or merged) with Chase.......(type in First USA or Bank One or Chase wiki)

I'm currently in this same kind of scenario. OC was First USA, then Bank One, then on to Chase. Any and all activity was with First USA. I've asked for validation. It will be interesting, I think, to see how Chase can validate anything from First USA. The CA states that Chase is the OC.

Thanks. I guess I could have just googled it myself too. All this crap I'm having to deal with is making me not think straight. When I called the number off of my credit report it automatically takes me to Chase Bank. I swear....sometimes my blond hair just does not earn me points.
