Suggestion for wording a "limited time" settlement offer

I want to offer a single lump sum pay for delete settlement at 50% and be done with things. I'm writing my own letter (with helpful bits cobbled from other letters) so that it doesn't have the appearance of an internet form letter.

What I'm looking for is suggestions for wording the settlement offer in a manner that doesn't encourage the CA to come back asking for a higher $ over time. I don't want the CA to say something like "AHHH, the guy who was broke last week has got $20 now, so instead of accepting $20 for your $50 debt, we'll accept $20 now and monthly payments of $1". (hope that made sense).

In other words, I have $20 for you if you want to settle permanently... otherwise you can go pound sand.... Any suggestions for how to word the "limited time / take it or leave it" element of it... or is that pretty much impossible with a CA? I would prefer to settle now rather than bouncing offers back and forth haggling over the % until they get bored and sue.

The fools already mentioned a 58% settlement in passing on the phone, so I'm pretty confident they would take 50% and run if I word it right..... and it's getting towards the end of the month, so I'm guessing quota's need to be filled.

(they were also stupid enough to outright threaten a lawsuit, giving me all kinds of fun FDCP ammo, but frankly, I'll just be happy to settle and be done)

I am NOT an expert in such matters but based on what others have gotten 50% seems like a very realistic goal. I wouldn't throw it out there right away though. They'll feel if you have 50% then you have 80%. If you're satisfied with a 50% settlement then I'd start at maybe 35% over the phone but it will take time. I also say its easier on the phone than with a letter but get the terms in writing and have your attorney review before sending any money.
