Even though daughter is aminor,what can she do besides cease and decease order.I think once you get a lawsuit you have to answer otherwise they will get a default judgement and can come after wages, assets, checking accounts, etc. However, you may not be being sued under contract law or brach of contract or collections. Chances are it's not walmart directly who's calling...it's a CA appointed by the court. But you should check to be sure.EDIT: Walmart doesn't sue people willy-nilly. You need to find out if your fiance was actually sued. What is the status? Civil/criminal? was daughter arrested? Criminal charges? Is the payment a court-ordered restitution?
