getmeouttahere
I filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office about a month ago concerning a violation of the FDCPA from a local collection attorney. The CA contacted my husband, via USPS, about settling a debt, KNOWING my husband is represented by an attorney and is filing BK. Our attorney knew nothing of the letter the CA sent. I got a response from the Attorney General with an attached copy of the CA's response. The CA flat out lied and said they haven't attempted to contact us at all! I have the letter in my possession and it's not hard to prove. What do I do now? I want to sue their pants off.
admin
Talk to your attorney. You can sue them under the FDCPA.
