I want to get this going, and improve my credit score.
scorch
First you can try and settle with the original creditors.
ramirezhenry55
Aside from that you can still lower the interest thereof since you are showing the interest to pay. Consult a legal lawyer for this and clear off your debts.

tx3amigos
I would try pay for delete. Write to the original creditor ,first...see what they say. I've had very good luck with this. Usually paying the full amount to the OC works well. Do one at a time....save up your money. Most that agreed to this gave me 4 weeks to send in the check. ( I usually sent it in the next day) For collection agencies...offer less than the fulll amount)
LanceTX
Debt wise, that is not that much. I would get ahold of the original creditors and work something out. Keep in mind that the debt they writeoff will be like income to you on your taxes.
Drake Savory
Wait a minute! If it got sold off, can I still negotiate with the OC?I just sent off a PFD letter to the CA expecting to 623 the OC? Did I just screw up and waste $?
