Does anyone know of any good software packages for filing a chapter 7 on your own? Been looking at a number of them online and they vary quite a bit in price and features.

Also I am married filing single ( Florida non community property state), how do i list just my assets and keep them separate from hers.? Should she store what she wouldn't want to be listed?

Anyone that has filed on their own here in Florida? any advice would be greatly appreciated.

thanks for your help!

I think you can get it at NOLO. (I don't have enough posts on this forum to be permitted to post a link.) I first heard of this from a comment on this forum or another one. There was also a site link given but I can't recall what it was. I'm going to use the paralegal type of service that is about $400 because I want someone, a real person, to check all my papers and that way they can advise me on how to deal with one, say a vehicle that we sent to salvage, and we don't have the receipt for. ('Unknown' is what I was told by them to say for that.) Also, if you have to make some sort of amend or whatever you call it that the trustee might want, then they'd have the form there though it would cost around maybe $75.

From what little I've learned so far, anything that is in your name only and your name and spouse's name has to be submitted. I've not seen the forms yet that I plan to get from the service I'm going to use. I'll be filing around the first of Nov or Dec. I'm letting my past six months, that has to show, be of lower income so I'm wanting a month or two to drop off that six month period.
