idirekt
What do you do after you mail off the Pay for Delete payment to the collection agency? What if they don't delete the line off your credit report? I've read you can sue them, is this true? Im curious, because I have received a letter from one of the agencies saying they will delete the line off of my credit report and I'm going to send them the money but I'm just wondering what the possibilities might be. Fairy Enchantress
Enclose a copy of that letter with your payment to the agency and send it certifed mail.Make sure you keep that signed letter from the agency. That right there is your proof. If they don't delte it; send a copy of the money order, and the letter certiifed mail to each credit bureau for removal.
