Judgment in Massachusetts...

Back in 2006 I signed a "payment" plan with Atty Howard Lee Schiff , It was really a judgment . I was making the payments for about a year but due to a loss of work stopped paying . The long and short of it is I received a phone call from Asset Management Professionals last night and they were saying that they were trying to collect on the judgment , they made reference to the judgment number and they also made references to the amount of my car payment and credit card payment that are all being made. Is it legal in Massachusetts to transfer a judgment to another collector or is this some kind of scam?
