theGman Posted October 1, 2010 Report Share Posted October 1, 2010 discover threatened to send c/o to attorney or offered 60% settlement spread over 18 months. deadline was today. i couldn't afford it, told them i would try and come up with funds and contact them soon. what are my options? how soon will they sue? theGman Posted October 4, 2010 Author Report Share Posted October 4, 2010 thank you. it was a brand new charge-off. i took a 60% settlement and spread it over 24 payments. with all the information i gathered, it seemed like the best way to go. am now looking at improving utilization by getting added to gf's card with no balance and 10k limit.am open to new suggestions on rebuilding the score. thanks again.
