Guest usctrojanalum
Was browsing eCourts and found this gem of a decision. This is why it is absolutely imperative to respond to information subpoena's and show up for debtors exam. While this is not a consumer credit transaction per se, it is an action to collect money damages for a breach of contract. Apparently the plaintiff's attorney served a supboena duces tecum to the defendant's wife (or relative, could be a sister or something I am really just speculating) and she decided to not show up or respond to it.http://decisions.courts.state.ny.us/fcas/fcas_docs/2010SEP/51001840820055SCIV.pdf
