tx3amigos
I have never seen a carfax info sheet ...I might know the answer to this if I had seen one... So the question is: If you have had a car repo-ed , can you pull a carfax sheet on its VIN and see who owns it now and how much they paid for it (besides getting the damage and repair record)? I just wondered if that could help someone know who currently owns the title (OC or CA or JDB), how much it was auctioned and sold for and the date it was auctioned/resold. ezrunner
I dont believe the carfax would have that info. was there any damage to the vehicle? if so they can file against your auto policy.
tx3amigos
The car was taken by ex wife. Rumor has it, she did get in an accident before the repo. ... just would like to know when it was sold and for how much without stirring up trouble with the CA (she never gives me a straight answer)...thought the carfax might give this info plus who has the title now Edited October 7, 2010 by tx3amigos

tx3amigos
I don't have the contract and if I contact the OC/lein holder they might sue me. Right now I am just getting phone calls.I guess no one has ever looked at a carfax!
