SQLguy
I was served last week with a summons from Johnson Mark LLC for Midland Funding. I immediately sent a DV Letter to the attorney's office listed on the summons. The summons indicates that the lawsuit has not actually been filed yet and indicates that I need to call the court 13 days after the summons to determine if the case has actually been filed. I know that if they do end up filing then I need to respond. My questions are 1. Does the attorney have to respond to the DV letter and 2. Should I even worry about sending one to Midland?
