NickTemt
Ok, so I had... "HAD".... an old debt from Verizon Wireless from back in early 2003. They had sold the debt to Midland Credit Management. Midland Credit Management has since posted to debt to my credit reports as well as Verizon. So they sent me a bunch of mail, and tried to collect. But I never paid their sorry asses. They have since "assigned" the debt to RPM, "Recievables Performance Management" who decides to call me once a day via an automated robo-dialer. Anyways...Verizon wireless' debt was deleted because it was too old to dispute. Midland Credit Management's is in the process of being deleted, and RPM is just SOL.So. Figured I'd share my little... stickin' to the CA story...

fixingtheproblem
I have the same issue, Verizon is still on there from 2002, and Midland is showing to have it now. Need to get rid of them.

If you defaulted in 2002 the debt should be off. A defaulted debt can only remain for 7 to 7 1/2 years after the default.
