I will try to keep this short,

Disputed judgemnt that shouldnt be on my reports, came back verified!

Disputed method of verification, they responded with name and address of court house They said FCRA says they dont have to provode me with a specific name.

They also stated that they would not reinvestigate this item as it was already investigated and proven verified.

So I contacted the courst house and they stated that they dont verify anything at all with any Credit bueruas PERIOD.

How do i get them to reinvestigate and remove this item, as they are not verifing anything with the courts?

Can somebody provide me with the FCRA section that deals with the verification specifics? Or other laws?

What was the grounds on which you disputed the item? i.e. did you dispute it as "satisfied"? And did you dispute it online or via mail?

If the OC hasn't done a notarized satisfaction with the courts you need to contact them first.

Then I would do another "mailed" dispute with the CRA and dispute the item as "satisfied". If the courts say they don't verify anything with the CRA's then the CRA blatantly lied to you. And you CAN reinvestigate, they just can't reinvestigate for the same dispute reason once that reason has already been "verified".

Before I found this website I actually did an online dispute with all 3 CRA's about a judgment being "satisfied". Experian and Equifax deleted the Judgment, and TransUnion has completely ignored the online dispute.

DO NOT DO ONLINE DISPUTES.

Let me explain to you what they mean by this. Judgments are public records and that is how the CRA's place them on a credit profile.

Now back in the day before the explosion of the internet, they would literally hire people to go into all the Court houses and retrieve the information regarding defedants and having judgments against them.

Nowadays you have sites like Nexis and other database companies that will compile all the information and other records from the Courts and sell said information to the CRA's in bulk.

When they say they have verified it with the Court, that does not mean they spoke to a person who works for the Court. It means that they found a judgment entered against you in that specific court.
