Is there a way to get them removed

I have several collections with a CA and I know that they are valid. I have spoken with them several times, and they have provided me copies of the original bills from the OC. (a hospital)

I have asked over the phone and also in writing for a PFD, and they have said no everytime. They tell me that the OC will not allow them to do that.

So, here is my thoaght... 5 of the 6 collections are small, less than 200 dollars. One is around 1200 bucks, and will take some time to get the money for it. So if I go ahead and pay them, they said they will mark them as PAID. What about waiting a month and then going and doing a dispute to try and get them removed then... Once they are paid, the CA has no reason to keep it on my record.

What do you guys / gals think?

First make sure the CA is not really a JDB who has purchased the debts. If it really is a CA who is collecting for the OC, you can pay and then dispute, but they are under no obligation to remove their TLs as long as their entries are accurate.

Yah, I know it is truely a CA. It is a small local shop in Monroe, WI. The OC is a hospital in Illinois. It has been a few months since I sent them a PFD, maybe it is time to try again. Maybe they have gotten the hint that I will not give them what they want, until I get what I want! lol...

My ex-wife really messed up my credit. We have been divorced 4 years now, and I have been able to remove 7 collections just by disputing that she created for me with just my name on them. I am down to 8 left, and I think I am going to have to pay these ones... hoping they will all take a PFD.
