willingtocope
Basically a scam. The government made them shut down FreeCreditReport.com because it wasn't free, and NOT the official goverment site, so now they're pushing FreeCreditScore.com. This is all part of it.Canceling your subscription is possible...but teaching pigs to fly is easier.Run away....
thebone
Thats a good point LOL, when you get that pig to fly let me know!!!!! I went in pulled my credit report and score and cancelled my membership all in one sweep. So many people just overlook the cancelling part and they end up paying a couple of month before they get the picture.
Denita
Also, the score is not a FICO score. Experian has their own scoring product that no one uses - so why buy it?
thebone
Well if you need a copy of your CR a dollar is a great price. For me that is one report I needed, I had a copy of the other 2 from denied credit and I used up my one yearly free one a few months ago so this was a deal for me. If you don't need it then I agree with you don't spend your dollar.
sweetcheeks
phone # to cancel 1-877-284-7942. they will try to sell you into the plan by offering it half price for 6 months, just continue saying no and eventually it will be cancelled. I can pull my EQ and TU everyday, and 3-1 once a month. this $1 deal helps me see my EX inbetween.
