NEWS FLASH for Experian

Recommended Posts

I just went onto Experian's web site to pull my latest CR and found this.

WHAT'S YOUR CREDIT SCORE? Find out now for only $1.00

Get your Experian Credit Score and Report for $1! I don't know how long this will last but its a great deal.

http://www.experian.com/credit-report-partner/index-g.html?WT.srch=ECDG1&bcd=vQwpOf3p&mkwid=svQwpOf3p&pcrid=7338591789&kwid=experian

Here is the catch

When you order your $1 Credit Report and free Score here, you will begin your trial membership in Triple Advantage. If you don't cancel your membership within 9 days, you will be billed $14.95 for each month that you continue your membership. You can cancel your membership by contacting us at any time and stop the monthly billing; however, you will not be eligible for a pro-rated refund of your current month's paid membership fee.

So make sure you cancel your membership before the 9 days and your good to go for a buck.::travolta::

Basically a scam. The government made them shut down FreeCreditReport.com because it wasn't free, and NOT the official goverment site, so now they're pushing FreeCreditScore.com. This is all part of it.

Canceling your subscription is possible...but teaching pigs to fly is easier.

Run away....

Thats a good point LOL, when you get that pig to fly let me know!!!!! I went in pulled my credit report and score and cancelled my membership all in one sweep.

So many people just overlook the cancelling part and they end up paying a couple of month before they get the picture.

Well if you need a copy of your CR a dollar is a great price. For me that is one report I needed, I had a copy of the other 2 from denied credit and I used up my one yearly free one a few months ago so this was a deal for me. If you don't need it then I agree with you don't spend your dollar.

phone # to cancel 1-877-284-7942. they will try to sell you into the plan by offering it half price for 6 months, just continue saying no and eventually it will be cancelled. I can pull my EQ and TU everyday, and 3-1 once a month. this $1 deal helps me see my EX inbetween.
