I sent FPB a 623 dispute letter last month. They sent me two letters in response. One letter was telling me that the account was opened on an exact date but the could not send me the application because it was opened online or by phone. The second letter told me I would have to pay 3 dollars per copy if I wanted the statements. I drafted a letter letting them know of their violations and was going to sent it to them on the 30th day which is the 15th. Well today I got a letter letting me know that they are deleting this account with the four major credit reporting agencies becasue it is not mine!!!!!!! It should take 30 to 60 days to update. How great would it be if EQ,TU, or EX verified it after the date of deletion the letter!!!

Can you post or PM the 623 letter? :)

To the people requesting the 623 letter, do NOT hold your breath. 623 letters, like everything, are tailored to specific situations.

Besides, this thread is over a year old already, don't hold your breath on a reply.

To everybody - click here or check out my "credit repair primer" link in my sig for FAQs and a further explanation of "letters" and why we don't copy from others... ...

A creative way to use section 623 is to send the creditor a certified letter that contains only a blank sheet of paper - the goal is to get them to sign for it. If you would like to try the process contact me because there are forms that need to be used and a sequence that has to be followed
