creditcrunched
I was told that a JDB such as PRA could list the account type as open because in the comments section it's listed as a collection account. Okay. But EQ is telling me my most recent opened account is PRA. So now "closed" CA TLs are factored in AAoA??? One more thing::What is a date major deliquency first reported vs. date of first deliquency?

defeatCA
Date of First Delinquency (DoFD) is the important one.The reporting-date is just what the name says it is: The date it was reported. How long it stays on file is determined by the DoFD.

creditcrunched
Thanks for all the help, everyone. Prosay:)++While I await the response from my nicely worded letter to PRA, I am trying to find any and every piece of leverage I can use in the event things get judicial. I know DOFD is the date which determines what can and cannot be reported, and they do have it listed (although it's a year off...allegedly. Shh, don't tell).I began the road to credit repair in earnest in 2007 and this is the first I have seen the "first major deliquency" thing and it's only used on Equifax. Seems to me a bit redundant since it's already deliquent and probably just another way to make it seem newer than it really is. But I'm no lender so who knows except the vultures at PRA and the fico mafia with their ridiculous proprietary claim. I am determined to find the upper hand and this board with all your help has been a great place to start.
creditcrunched
Check this out - that's what I found:**can't post your link cause I am one post shy lol**The debt is definitely within SOL. For every state it's different. I was used to live in debtors paradise and SOL wasn't an issue. I have since moved to a state that has extended the SOL by a few years, and is collectible long after the debt cannot be reported to the CRAs. Worst case scenario is they sue and win and I pay. Best case they violate my rights and I use this to hash out an agreeable settlement on my terms. C'est la vie.My main concern right now is getting this TL removed from my report and putting this debt to bed once and for all. That is why the DOFD vs date of first major deliquency thing had me going.
