hummer931
My ex wife is supposed to pay for this loan as agreed in our alimony. However she did not honor her agreement this month. I found out exactly as it hit the 30 day mark and made payment immediately. There are only a few payment left until the car is paid off. It is in both of our names as it was purchased 5 years ago.Do you guys think ill get hit on my report or does it need to go 31 before i get the hit. Also, is there anything i can do preventatively to keep this from showing up..Any advice is appreciated, as my credit is very good and this would really hurt me. diamonddan73
You may want to call them up and see if you are eligible for a one month deferment. If you are, ask them if the can make it one month retoactive and see if that works.
Guest usctrojanalum
Keep an eye on your credit reports for now, see if a negative pops up.
