12o'clocksomewhere
I spoke with an attorney today and he wants to take a look at the summons/complaint, my answer I filed and a letter from JDB Attorney. What info should I give him, should I fax the paperwork he wants or should I cross out important info that I don't want him to know. Any thoughts would be much appreciated!! lheart
If this lawyer is the collection lawyer - give them nothing. If this lawyer is going to represent you - give them everything.
Guest usctrojanalum
Everything, unedited. The summons and your answer are public records anyway, so there would be no reason to redact anything from those documents. And definitely do not cross out anything on the letter the JDB sent you. Plus if he can give me some FREE advice I'm all for it ! Oh and I went to the UPS store to fax the info and they want to charge me $1 page!! I have 27 pages . They are out of their minds, I'd rather just drive there instead.
