I had sent a few disputes out and I recieved a repsonse from equifax that i'm hoping someone can let me know what it means.

It says the results of out investingation then has this listed

A revised copy of your credit file has been sent to this credit grantor If you have additional questions please contact, then it gives the name/ address. The names/addresses are of the credit grantors and the bureaus. Has any one gotten a response like this and knows what it means?

I got the very same thing on an item I was disputing on and I didn't do anything with it. I was thinking on what to do- but then I got a letter from the OC regarding the dispute and stated my account was sold to MCM and contact them directly.

That's when I decided to do a PFD letter on a settlement starting at 25% but hadn't done so yet.

you can contact the OC, I am sure they will give you information you need.

It means they updated your credit file, but without more information it could mean a couple things.

It seems like put a dispute on that file and sent it to the OC for them to verify.

Or it could mean the OC did not respond in 30 days and they deleted it from your credit report.

Give more details.

There are about 6 lines that sat this, each are the same excpet for who to contact

We have reviewed the inquiry information. The results are: A revised copy of your credit file has been sent to this credit grantor If you have additional questions please contact equifax 1550 peach tree st.

then this same thing is repeated again on a few different lines with the contacts being:

truelink, first advantage, true credit/tus, cic/ experian, capital one bank, household credit services. then gives each of their addresses.

Does that make sense what I put above?
