1moretoy
Contacted experian today, Boy are they curt and nasty. will make this simple. 1st question can an account be listed as a chargeoff if it's never been 180 days without a payment? 2nd Experian told me that 1st delinquency starts over everytime an account is brought current and then becomes delinquent again. Is that the case? The account was charged-off in 5/08 but list 90 day lates as far back as 4/04. 3rd and last how can an account that is enter as discharged in bankruptcy 4/06 is now being reported as ok in good standing and current? This is much more difficult and frustrating than I ever imagined:cry: Thanks in advance.

willingtocope
Remember, you're not their customer...the creditors are. They don't have to be nice to you.1. Yes. CO means nothing to you. Its "charge against income for P&L purposes" for the creditor. They can do that whever it suits their accountants.2. Correct. Bringing an account current resets DOFD.3. What kind of account? Did you reafffirm? Was it a BK 7 or BK13?
