LV121807
I've been working on my credit for the past year, and never really considered attempting to remove my inquiries. I've had some identity theft problems, also mistaken identity( me and dad have same name). I have over 55 inquiries and am trying to have them removed. When I called Experian the lady was nice enough to dispute ALL of them for me but when I tried the same thing with Transunion and Equifax all they said was they dont investigate inquiries and to threaten the company with calling the FTC. Has anyone had any luck calling the CB and having inquiries investigated and removed?????
1stStep
First of all, dispute everything in writing...that being the case, send certified letters to EQ and TU disputing the inquiries. They will have 30 days to investigate and verify...
