Hello members, im back- Question about twin Negative accounts

Meaning, the original creditor and the collection account. My reports show 5 negative accounts which are actually only 3.

Bank America

Midland collections for bank america- account settled/paid

Student loan

Student loan collections

Dept of Defense

I paid midland in full and now it seems ill have Bank America on my credit report for another 4 years and Midland is settled but no deletion. What can i do other than send the original creditor a pity request to delete a settled account?

I cant stand dual negatives of the same thing! Its bad enough i couldnt pay the orig. but now the collections is saying the same thing on my report
