Janu2
I am finally able to pay/negotiate my old outstanding phone bill. I am still getting bills from Fairpoint, not a collection agency. I assume they have been reporting to the bureaux. Should I send them a pay-for-delete letter? Or how best to handle this old bill? I don't mind paying it in full, but I would like to get any credit repair benefit I can before doing so. Thank you very much. Hal Jordan
Never assume.. Pull your credit reports and find out. Also, I don't think we should be anyone's moral compass.. pay your outstanding bills or don't pay them.. your choice my friend.
