required to serve copy of answer to plantiff's attorney? how do i do that?

CMRRR will probably work, but you need to read your state's rules regarding this stuff. While many states are going to have somewhat consistent rules regarding many different procedures, they won't all be exactly the same.

Here in california you have to someone other than yourself fill out a proof of service form and mail that form with your answers to the plaintiff. AZ probably has something similar.

proof of service generally works.

if the court wants the service to be done in a specific way, outside of statute, they will usually write that in the order. if the order doesnt specify, your rules of service will determine

actually i think in your state proof of service or certificate of service is required so you need to have someone fill out and notarize an affidavit of service. its easy to do.
