lmarrie
Ok so I disputed with the credit bureaus an item that appears on all three of my credit reports. The forty five days will be up in five days and I haven't gotten a response from any of them. I also informed them after 30 days that they had not responded to my dispute. If they do not delete in the next 6 days then what do I do? Do I send a letter to the FTC and if so what does it say? 1stStep
You'll need to do a couple of things, since FCRA cases require a lot of documentation...1. Make sure they have not responded. The CRAs have shifted to using nondescript envelops to send their replies. 2. If no reply, then send another letter including copies of your original letters and send CMRRR. Inform them of the date the original disputes and let them know that 30 days has long since elapsed. Get ready to sue for violation of the FCRA.
