Credit Repair After Hiring Someone to Do It

Before I came across this site, I hired a young lady who seemed to have a pretty good handle on doing credit repair. She started the repair then disappeared. I am thinking she did the initial dispute with the credit bureaus, but am no too sure what other steps she took. I received new credit reports from the agencies, and now that I have access to all this information, want to continue the repair.

I am looking for suggestions on the next steps to take. Do I start with goodwill letters on a few that show only one or two late payments, or do I start with letters to those in collections and the settled accounts (I settled a few items, before I found out about pay for delete).
