Hello,

I recently joined the forum after reading through a lot of very informative posts. There are so many knowledgeable and helpful people here and their help is greatly appreciated. It's unbelievable how much I've learned that's helping me to handle my legal issues in court.

About my background: past 60 and long-term unemployed, getting by with early Social Security retirement income, and facing debt collection efforts by mostly junk debt buyers, and one by an original creditor.

The free legal aid people advised me to do nothing about a complaint filed against me in Superior Court, and that they would help me defend against a judgment because of my being collection-proof. I have opted to file an Answer and a Bill of Particulars and give them a run for their money. I have nothing to lose and I have some time. And then there's this forum. :)

I look forward to doing more research. Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hmm, I rather thought "fighting spirit" meant willingness to face challenges as fearlessly as possible. It's a "quarrelsome spirit" that goes out eager for a fight. ;^)

There's definitely energy in this forum. It's great.
