***SOL for Confession of Judgement after signing***

Recommended Posts

Any body know SOL for this in North Carolina? I know its not valid forever. They have to file it within a certain amount of time with the clerk or its no longer valid. I just don't know what the time frame is. Any help is great. Thanks.

What are you saying?

That you already agreed to a judgment in writing with the creditor and now you have discovered it's not recorded?

Judgments fall under a different catogory altogether. Here is the rule for North Carolina: Rule 68.1. Confession of judgment. :: Chapter 1A - Rules of Civil Procedure. :: 2009 North Carolina Code :: North Carolina Code :: US Codes and Statutes :: US Law :: Justia
