drummer55
so I have my ducks in a row and have sued an OC on FCRA violations.now right before they're in default judgement territory they're willing to remove the negative tradelines. considering I'm suing em for 26k thats so generous of them. what else should I ask for since one of these charged off tradelines made it into the hands of JDB who is suing me. got till tomorrow to come up with things to ask for...thanks in advance. kutuzov
If they sold the account they don't own it anymore so they cannot just take it off. The only thing they could do is take it off the credit report, and since the JDB got a few papers, and nothing from the OC, other than perhaps 1-3 bills and the contract, you could DV them and it will probably go away. kutuzov
That's fine, since they take it off the credit report, and probably the JDB has only junk documents, as soon as you can DV the debt do it, and they probably won't be able to do it, and it will just go away.Anyway it also depends how much you care about your CR if it was me I would tell them give me some cash, the credit report issue is gonna be fix in some years anyway.
