RockDaddy
623s are intended for original creditors. Is their something similar for JDBs?You can actually rework a 623 to make it usable for a JDB. At least that's what one resident expert here told me in a private PM. I'm actually about to fire it off to the JDB, hoping it will bear fruit.YMMV. DonqIII
You can actually rework a 623 to make it usable for a JDB. At least that's what one resident expert here told me in a private PM. I'm actually about to fire it off to the JDB, hoping it will bear fruit.YMMV.Thank you. I will work on it.I disputed with the CRAs for this JDB and they changed theamount to what they are now calling a verified amount.I did DV them a long time ago and did not receive a replyother then a settlement letter.I then received continued collections now a year after that, with the comment that as I never paid or made an endeavor tothey would refer this to an atty in my area for potential legal action. This continued collections, still never having verified anything to me, started another FDCPA violationAnd. As they continued to collect, having never verified... I initiatedarbitration.I disputed with the CRAs at the same time I initiated as Ilisted FCRA as a claim. The one came back with a change in the alleged outstandingbalance of close to $600 less, but they added the word verifiedin front of this. So, I was advised to 623 to see what happens to see if the FCRAclaim will still be valid.I am waiting for the other CRAs to get the dispute results backbefore I do that.
