SAID THE REPRESENTATIVE I SPOKE TO IN THE FRAUD DEPARTMENT, AT THE OFFICE OF A CERTAIN CREDIT CARD ISSUER...

IN RESPONSE TO MY TELLING HER I PLAN TO FILE A POLICE REPORT TO DOCUMENT THE FACT THAT THE ACCOUNTS THEY CLAIM ARE IN MY NAME

(AND ARE THE REASON THEY HAVE PULLED MY CREDIT UMPTEEN TIMES)

WERE NOT OPENED OR USED BY ME, NOR WAS I AWARE THEY EXISTED....

NOW WHY OH WHY WOULD THAT BE THE RESPONSE?

THIS WAS AFTER SHE SUGGESTED I PUT FRAUD ALERTS ON MY CA FILES...

AND AFTER I TOLD HER THOSE ALERTS WERE ALREADY ON ALL OF MY CREDIT FILES, EVEN INNOVIS, WHEN THEY ALLOWED THE ID THEFT TO OPEN THE ACCOUNTS IN MY NAME, AT A DIFFERENT ADDRESS, PHONE NUMBER ETC. THAN MINE...

AND AFTER SHE COULD NOT EXPLAIN WHY SUCH ALERTS WERE IGNORED!!!!

SO EVERYONE PLEASE TELL ME WHY OH WHY THE CC CO/ISSUER/BANK DOES NOT WANT ME TO DOCUMENT THESE FACTS TO MY LOCAL OR STATE PD OR WHATEVER OTHER LE AGENCY MAY BE ABLE TO HELP ME? :?::confused:

Because it has the potential to really suck the wind out of their collection efforts against you. You see, you aren't really a human being. You are, in fact, a 16 digit number with dollar signs attached to your behind.

Not saying your claim is b.s., at all !! But to answer your question, anytime a complaint or report is filed, even one that is total b.s., it's a pain and has the potential to cost a lot of money to somebody.

I remember having to answer insurance dept complaints. They were total b.s., and 95% of the time it just went away and never heard from anybody again. However, had to treat the complaint like it just came from the supreme court. It was Lots of busy work and time.
