NeverServed
So I have been trying to settle with crap one. Long story short they got a bs judgement in a state I didnt live in. Now they got it domesticated where I live. I got an attorney trying to settle with these clowns. Now they want all kinds of proof of where I lived. I am hoping that the judgement gets vacated here. But how if I settle with them do I make sure they turn in papers in the other state. Saying I satisfied the judgement? I sent the attorney drivers lisc copies from here, other sensitive documents tax w2 copies etc. Plus my cats adoption record. do you think that would be enough? to prove where I lived. I cant beleive the bs they want to put me thru. Maybe because they are so fradulent. That now they think everyone else is
options
You don't need to prove anything to their attorney. He should be the one making excuses to you for his sewer service of the process in another state, which his state bar may not look favorably on. File a motion to vacate judgment in the state where it was entered, arguing improper service and lack of personal jurisdiction. NeverServed
How old is the kitty?Crash 4 years! Loool. I have thought about vacating the judgement there. I will call the court tommorow see if I can file. A motion pay the fee get a cout date and go up there. But I have a special needs child. And a lot of appointments to go to so its hard to go 800 miles away if kwim"? But I'm about to do what I need to. If I get the motion vacated I think they are screwed as sol is up where they can sue. I got an email from the atty office. I sent tons of documentation to prove I wasn't there. But because it isn't in the name they are suing me with. It may not work but I got proof I'm one in the same.
