I was looking at my credit reports and one of my old car loans looks like it had been re-aged. The Date Opened was 4/2001, last payment date was 1/2006, and the date updated/Date closed was 10/2011. I have not had any contact with these people since 2006 regarding this loan (sadly they repossessed the car in 2006). Is this considered re-aging? If it is, how should I handle it?

Thanks for all your help!

The date of last payment or date of first delinquency determines how long the entry will remain on your CR. The "date updated" just means the last time they updated their entry. It has nothing to do with the date the entry will fall off.
