Mannerheim Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 HelloI have two judgments. The first is from Citibank, who received a judgment against me for an unpaid balance of $6,000. This was written off in my bankruptcy. Can i get the debt/judgment removed from my credit report? The second is very small resulting from a dispute with a local dentist. The service was incurred prior to filing Ch. 7, but the judgment was filed/recorded after filing.I know that I can have these judgments vacated if I pay them off, and have the consent of the plaintiff; but, how can I get them removed under these circumstances?Thank you.
1stStep Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 The judgment from Citi is void if you named them as a creditor. The same would be true if you did the same with the dentist.
willingtocope Posted April 6, 2012 Report Posted April 6, 2012 But if either was in effect before discharge, both will remain on your CRs marked IIB.
