Debt collector drop case?

Recommended Posts

What is the legal definition of a

"verification representative"?

I had already disputed this alleged debt with another law firm debt collector from my state almost a year ago. Now this one doesn't even live in my state. They already dunned me and then Robo Dialed twice.

I'm just guessing here, but here it goes.

Legal definition of Verification Representative: A snooty title that is an attempt to sound important so that they may intimidate alleged debtor into thinking they're dealing with somebody who must have some measure of authority. In reality, this person is nothing more than an office drone performing a task required by Federal Law.

Thanks usagi555 !!

Thanks Rudy Balor !!

I was wondering if she was a SPE******T...

Doing some research on them and it looks as though they violate FDCP on a regular basis and have had several instances of false affidavits.

Appreciate any other info anyone can find on theses folks or if they have had Rhonda verify anything for them.

Thanks in advance!!

A verification representative might also be the same thing as a legal spe******t. They're both bull. Legal Spe******t appears to be a title attached to the name of an employee who signs affidavits for the company. In other words, the employee's "specialty" is signing affidavits that he/she has never read.

The same goes for the verification representative. She was probably handed piece of paper and told to sign it.

Hold on a second, and lets be fair. She may have been given the responsibility of actually answering the validation demand all on her own. I mean, it's such a big task to match up a number to a file, print out a statement, print out a form letter and sign it, then drop it in the mail.

Of course. Poor girl, between picking the cooties out of her crotch and trolling Craig's List for her next illegal alien boyfriend and a good ecstasy fix, she probably has a hard time keeping up to the 400 fake affidavits she has to process every day in order to keep her job. We should be more understanding.

I know I probably should not laugh at this, but dang, how do you keep from it?

I am the king of inappropriate. I like the one about the guy who gets a phone call from McDonald's....."Sir, your wife asked us to call. She's stuck. She wants you to send some help."

"Stuck? You mean her car broke down?"

"No, the fat ba****d is wedged in the drive up window and we can't get her out. We poured butter all over her giant a** and tried to get her out with a winch, but the motor burned out. I think we need a tow truck."
