captfly Posted April 12, 2012 Report Share Posted April 12, 2012 I have a loan with a large lender who had been sending me monthly bills every mo, I paid them and after a period of time I stopped getting bills , when I discovered this while on a 2hr phone call with them they informed me I was DEAD! , I assured them I was not yet dead and would like to keep paying as I was, I was told they had charged it off and I could not!, I wrote a letter after that call and the responce was from the leander for me to pay all the late fees and they would move forward! I refused and they noted my credit report poorly , and after its been 5 years never asked for a death cert. until last mo never tried to recover the property, what should I do?
