BTO429 456
I got a really good harvest this year from my black berries. Even though we were in a drought this year the wine came out great.I am considering entering it in my state fair wine competition next summer. after it ages for a year it should be out of this world. LeeR 12
My friend used to make wine out of Lychee. It's a local fruit here in Hawaii. I like local made wines better than a lot of the storebought myself! Good luck if you enter yours!

BTO429 456
it has been aging for about 6 months so I broke open a bottle to check it out. Its getting a great buttery flavor and the black berry taste is really improving. This stuff will be excellent in another 6 months. I am going to enter it in my state fair and some other wine competitions.
farrier 0
What do you do to even think about making your own wine out of blackberries? I know where there is fields full of them... it would be a fun experiment! Just for the fun of it... I can can my garden veggies and many other wonderfully crafty things grandma taught me, but never made wine. If I could accomplish it, it would be fun to give a couple friends some for a Christmas gift
Kevin Foreman 0
It's very old post. But can I know the status... For how long you kept it for aging? and for how much you sold it?
