kutuzov
So in January 2009 I and my wife defaulted on all credit cards, so far we been sue once and won. By 2016 all bad accounts will be gone, so in 2017 I plan on buying a house. I know I got to build up my credit for when that happens, in july 2011 I got a credit card from crap1, with no anual fee so I'm keeping that one to stablish an old TL. Also I got no car payments with 2 cars paid of on credit, one with 1 30 days, that is from 2009. Some old accounts in good standing, but closed never late from the old days, pre 2009 default. The idea is to save 5k an year until 2016/17, that will make 20k or maybe 25k, I plan on buying gold or silver, and keep that money safe from inflation, pamp suisse bars pure precious metal. That will also keep the money off a saving account and safe from an emergency I could have. Bad side is that the bank will not know I got this money saved for long etc.Anyways other than 1 cc should I do something else now or in the way to get my score better? I do pay all my regular bills on time and do not have any problem with those just the 2009 credit card default. All landlords love me, I pay then religiously on the 5 of each month or earlier.I would be a first time home owner, and could apply for any goverment funds if any at that time. I think a 60-80k house would be what I'll be looking for, and pay 500-600 a month and an extra 5k on principal per year, and a 20-25k downpayment, that at 5% APR it will be paid in a lot less than 30 years, I will not refinance etc. I'm paying until I got the title.
