strive4credit
I know they are going to be off but are they going to be much higher or much lower? I got a report and score from the Wells Fargo promotion (vantage) and their score was about 70 points LOWER than my actual FICO. I am wondering whats the strategy for making the score higher and the strategy for making it lower.

Consumer (these are the ones sold to you online)4. InsuranceThere's also BK Risk Indicators and Rental FICOs now...
willingtocope
Actually, there are more like 17 different FICO scoring algorithms. And, all you can really say about scores from othe providers is that they will be wrong. Nobody who's goiing to lend you money looks at them...
S. Louis Blisko
If it's free it's like chicken soup. Can't hurt. I would still pull from the 3 major bureaus directly if you are going to make a large purchase anytime soon though.
bloomingdale
Scores may vary from different sources. What is important is that you aim to get excellent score in order to maximize the benefits and privileges that you can obtain. In other words, it is best to concentrate more on building your credit and your score will surely increase.
