dorayuyu Posted November 12, 2012 Report Posted November 12, 2012 I saw in one of the post from Calawyer saying that if the complain is not verified I can use General Denial. But I just saw this under Orange County court website"You may use a General Denial form if the complaint is not verified or the complaint is not verified and the case is a limited civil case ($25,000.00 or less) BUT NOT if the complaint involves a claim for more than $1,000.00 that has been assigned to a third party for collection."I got served by CACH LLC and the original creditor is BOA. So does that count as been assigned to a 3rd party for collection? which means that I can't use the General Denial?
1stStep Posted November 12, 2012 Report Posted November 12, 2012 You can use the General Denial... CACH is a 3rd party. Plus their complaints are never verified... you are getting confused with the venue verification.

Or does it mean as long as it is not verified, I will be able to use General Denial? Edited November 12, 2012 by dorayuyu
1stStep Posted November 12, 2012 Report Posted November 12, 2012 No you should be able to use the general denial... I did against CACH in LA County and got over on them just fine.
