reeb79
I have court tomorrow and was wondering what I should expect? A little back story. I got served about 6 weeks ago with a credit card debt from capital one. I called the court to find out about the Answer sheet and she said I didnt have to fill it out until im in court if I decide to deny or accept.A coworker of mine told me that I wont even see the judge and the attorneys will try to settle? But from what Im reading it seems like you have to go right to the judge. Thanks in advance for the help!
racecar
You will want to deny every allegation in plaintiffs complaint.Dont agree to anything, they will try to tell you that you can't win, that they have everything they need to win the case. If the judge asks if this is your credit card debt.Tell him you have had several credit card accounts with capital one in the past and to the best of your knowledge they were all in good standing, and you dont remember any of the account numbers.Watch these video's from marvin hes a CIC member and made 7 videos from his experience. He is in AZ but good to watch anyway.
