Southerngirl
I decided since several of my baddies were due to come off my credit report the first part of next year, I would dispute online now, and see if they might fall off early... I received a letter from midland today requesting that I send information to them regarding this debt. The letter reads: This letter is to request your assisstance so that we may reach a quick resolution to your dispute: It also says that the 3 CRA will change the status to dispute and my credit report will not be updated if the federal reporting period has expired. What should I do now? I certainly am not going to respond??
Beergoggles
you might have just alerted them to a case they forgot to sue on. I think you should have just left them alone. I would not respond either.
