KaneD1985
I have an unpaid judgement on my credit report for about $1000 dollars. The original debt was for an apartment. The court records show the account is closed and the judgment is satisfied but I didn't satisfy the judgement. I was going to satisfy it when I found out about this. It also still shows unpaid on my credit report. I believe it may have been sold to a collection agency because I have a JDB on my report that references the apartment as the original creditor but its for $3500. My question is should the account show paid on my credit report? How do I know if the judgement has been sold or if the JDB is just collecting on the OCs behalf? Beergoggles
get a copy of the satisfaction from the court and send it to the credit agencies. They have to remove it then. Is the tradeline from a collector or the apartments?
KaneD1985
The judgement shows the apartment. The tradeline that I think is related to the judgement shows the collector and lists the apartment as the original creditor.
