jjbooey
Hi, After disputing with the CRA and coming back verified, I sent the sample SOL letter on this site to NCC about an account that is past the 4 yrs SOL here in NV. Today NCC sent me, via certified mail, signed copies of my original agreement, account info, etc but never mention SOL. What should I do next? Thanks
BV80
The SOL for collection and the SOL for reporting on your CR are 2 different things. Just because the debt may be outside the SOL for collection in your state doesn't mean they can't still report to the CRAs. The SOL for that is 7 to 7.5 years from the date of first delinquency (DOFD). If the OC is still reporting, go by the OC's DOFD.
