Elky1969
I disputed several lines on my Experian account. Some came back as updated ( will fight these with another reason in 60 days) Some where deleted. woo hoo. And 1 came back as Remains ? What is Remains? Should I wait 60 days to dispute it again or? what options on this one ? Any suggestions? Thanks
S. Louis Blisko
Can't advise without knowing the particulars. 1) What type of account? 2) How old is it? 3) Have you previously sent a DV letter to the creditor / collector? 4) What reason did you give when disputing the first time? admin
I think it just means that the account remains on your report.

Elky1969
I think it just means that the account remains on your report. so did they investigate it ? And when you get these kind've reasons should I wait 60 days and then dispute with another reason ? Or go back at them now ? it's really strange the other 2 CRA don't even list it on their report. admin
Yes, the credit bureaus investigated. I'd wait 60 days and give another reason for your dispute.
BTO429
Be careful challenging the same account several times they can hit you with fraud and not investigate or even reply to your challenges.
admin
If you change the reason for the dispute, they have to reinvestigate.
