gwheelock915
A law firm that never contacted me by phone or mailing, reached out and soft pulled my credit 3 times in 4 weeks, twice on March 1, 2012, and March 28. I'm not sure what they wanted, and they are not licensed to litigate in IL so thats ok with me. Anything I should do?
TomnTex
Stay alert, I had a JDB do that, but before they could do anything, I DVed them and they went away. A few weeks later another JDB was on it.
gwheelock915
It was 2012 I might add, but is it best to let sleeping dogs lie where they may?
BV80
A soft pull on your CR doesn't affect it, and no one else sees the inquiry. You could DV them, but they wouldn't be required to respond because your DV would be sent because you found them on your CR, not because they sent a collection letter. If they're not bothering you, I'd keep my focus on more important issues.
iaanhayden
Ultimately, I would advise you to consult with a consumer attorney firm, one located in your state.
