nascar
While Zacheim & Associates' reputation does precede them, there is nonetheless a judgment. If you're planning to sell your house, you might want to address it beforehand. Your judgment will be recorded in the public record and will need to be paid before or during the sale of the house. Under F.S. 55.10, a judgment in Florida automatically becomes a lien on real property when recorded. If you have an opportunity to pay the judgment at a discount (a receive a satisfaction of judgment), it seems best to do so now, when you might only pay 50%, rather than later when you'll likely be forced to pay 100% upon sale of house. That said, you'll not want to disclose that you're preparing to sell your house - any deal involving a discount will probably disappear very quickly.
