willingtocope
The only scores that any one who's going to lend you money look at come from FICO...so, myfico.com is the place to go by.

We regret that we cannot provide you with your FICO® score report as your report at Equifax does not meet the minimum scoring criteria. If you were using a credit card, it was not charged. willingtocope
Well, you got a choice, you can get free outdated reports and FAKO scores from places like creditkarma, or you can go to www.annualcreditreport.com and get your free (once a year) actual reports but no scores, or you can go to www.myfico.com and pay for your actual reports and actual FICO scores. CordusAdmin
You might not be able to get an "unsecured credit card" but have you looked into getting a "secured" credit card? Make sure to get one that reports to the credit bureaus. As you use this card and pay on it each month, this will help your score. Here are some suggestions for cards - http://www.creditinfocenter.com/cards/secure-credit-cards.shtml Also, here is a good article about secured cards - http://www.creditinfocenter.com/cards/use-secured-cards-rebuild-credit.shtml
